Detailed description is . Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu, Türk siyasetçi, Ülkücü lider. Eski Ülkü Ocakları Genel Başkanı, 19., 20., ve 23. dönem TBMM Sivas milletvekili ve Büyük Birlik Partisi'nin kurucusu ve ilk genel başkanıdır. 25 Mart 2009 tarihinde helikopter kazasında Kahramanmaraş'ta şüpheli bir şekilde hayatını kaybetti.İlk yılları ve eğitimi31 Aralık 1954 günü Halit ve Fidan Yazıcıoğlu çiftinin son çocuğu olarak Şarkışla'nın Elmalı köyünde doğdu. İlk ve orta öğrenimini Şarkışla'da yaptıktan sonra Ankara Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi'ni bitirdi. Eşi Gülefer Yazıcıoğlu ile de burada tanışıp evlenen Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu 2 çocuk babası idi.Siyasi hayatı1980 öncesi1968 yılında Şarkışla'da Genç Ülkücüler Hareketi'ne katıldı; üniversite eğitimi için 1972'de Ankara'ya geldikten sonra da Ülkü Ocakları Genel Merkezi'nde görev yapmaya başladı. Sırasıyla Ülkü Ocakları Genel Başkan Yardımcılığı ve Ülkü Ocakları Genel Başkanlığı'nda bulundu. 1978 yılında faaliyete geçen Ülkücü Gençlik Derneği'nin de kurucu Genel Başkanı oldu. Bu dönemde yaşanan Bahçelievler ve Kahramanmaraş katliamlarıyla suçlandı fakat yargı tarafından suçsuz bulundu ve serbest bırakıldı. 1980 sonrası yapılan yargılamalarda da beş yılı hücrede olmak üzere yedi buçuk yıl hapishanede yattı. Daha sonra suçsuz bulundu ve beraat etti.
