History of ‘My Where Can I Find.Com’ . Hi, I'm Nicholla, the Creator and Administrator of 'Muscat - Where Can I Find?’ website and Facebook pages.. . In the Beginning. Started in May 2009, it was a simple Facebook group page. I was new to Muscat and looking for information, products and referrals. There didn’t seem to be an easy way to get this information so a new Facebook page seemed an ideal way for me to connect with local residents and find the answers I was looking for.. In January 2011, I started new Facebook group pages for Oman’s other two main cities, Salalah and Sohar. . . Time to Evolve. The success of the Facebook groups led to so much great information being shared we felt it was important to save it on a community website that allowed easy access of new and older shared information. User now get recognised for their contributions by receiving a badge. Being a city ambassador is a great so with this new website those that know the most get recognised for this. .
