Detailed description is MUĞLA KIZ TEKNİK VE MESLEK LİSESİ - MUĞLA ANADOLU MESLEK VE KIZ MESLEK LİSESİ. MUĞLA KIZ TEKNİK VE MESLEK LİSESİ TARİHÇESİ. İlk olarak Muğla Akşam Kız Sanat Okulu olarak 1948 -1949 eğitim yılında, bir salon ve bir odadan ibaret bu günkü orduevi binasında 4 öğretmen ve 237 öğrencisiyle öğrenime başlamıştır. Eski adıyla Kız Enstitüsü olarak 1950- 1951 yılında ilk mezunlarını veren okulumuz 6 atölye, 9 derslik ve 1 laboratuar bulunan eski Halkevi, bugün ki Anadolu Otelcilik ve Turizm Meslek Okulu binasında 1982–1983 eğitim yılına kadar faaliyetini sürdürmüştür. Muğla’nın sosyal yaşamında çeşitli faaliyetleriyle önemli bir yeri olan Kız Meslek Lisesi 3 Ağustos 1983 tarihinde bu günkü binası olan tarihi binaya taşınmış.1983–1984 eğitim öğretim yılına burada başlamıştır.Bu günkü Kız Meslek Lisesi binası, Muğla-Aydın Karayolu üzerinde 1839 yılı II. Mahmut zamanında kışla olarak yapılmıştır. Zamanla harap hale gelen kışlayı, Mutasarrıf Müştak Lütfi Bey 10.000 altın harcayarak esaslı bir şekilde onarmış ve bu günkü duruma getirmeye çalışmıştır. İstiklal savaşı sırasında tekrar mutasarrıf olarak Muğla’ya gelen Müştak Lütfi Bey eksik kalan kısımları tamamlatmıştır.1916 yılında Sultani adıyla Lise bu binaya taşınmıştır.1973–1974 yılına kadar bu binada eğitim çalışmalarını sürdüren Turgut Reis Lisesi bu günkü binasına taşınmıştır. Bu eğitim yılından sonra sırasıyla iki eğitim yılı Ticaret Lisesi, Halk ve Çocuk Kütüphanesi, Halk Eğitim Merkezi Müdürlüğü tarihi binamızda, geçici olarak çalışmalarını sürdürmüştür.1982 yılında esaslı bir onarıma başlanan binaya yeni adıyla, Kız Meslek Lisesi taşınmıştır.”24”odası bulunan binanın gerek çatı onarımı, gerek iç onarım çalışmaları devam etmektedir. 2006–2007 öğreti yılı başında tekrar büyük bir onarıma alınarak, Kız Meslek Lisesi ünitelerine cevap verebilecek duruma getirilmeye çalışılmıştır.1983 -1984 Eğitim yılında 35 Meslek,13 genel bilgi ve 7 depo tayini olmak üzere 55 öğretmen kadrosuyla öğretime başlayan Kız Meslek Lisesi bünyesinde, Kız Sanat Ortaokulu, Pratik Kız Sanat Okulu ve Anaokulu bulunmaktadır. Kız Meslek Lisesinde, Giyim, El sanatları, Uygulamalı Resim bölümleri bulunmaktadır. Bu öğretim yılında ayrıca Pratik Kız Sanat Okulunda diğer bölümlerden başka Halıcılık ve Trikotaj bölümleri açılmıştır. Kız Meslek Lisesinde 77,Kız Sanat Ortaokulunda 71,Pratik Kız Sanat Okulunda 300, Anaokulunda 65 öğrenci olmak üzere toplam 513 öğrenci vardır. Okulun 3 memur,1 teknisyen,5 tane de hizmetlisi bulunmaktadır. 2005 yılında sağlık eğitim merkezi olan ek bina okulumuza devredilmiştir. Bu ek bina uygulama sınıfı ve giyim atölyesi olarak kullanılmaktadı 2008- 2009 Eğitim Öğretim yılı Kız Meslek lisesinde 341,Anadolu Meslek Lisesinde 687, Açık lise yüz yüze eğitimde 68,Uygulama sınıfında 92 Okul Öncesi ile birlikte Toplam 1188 öğrenci, 86 Öğretmen,1 memur,1 mutemet,2 yardımcı personel,1 şoför 3 binada Eğitim ve Öğretimine devam etmektedir.. .
