Detailed description is Nimapada Autonomous College is established in the year 1963,an undergraduate college having more than 3000 students. The college has assumed the status of a fully fledged under graduate degree college in the year 1965 having Honors teaching provision.At present the student strength has gone up to 3500 with Hons. This is one of the oldest college in Puri District.It is a Govt. college under Utkal University. Offers Courses :BA(Pass&Honours),BCOM(Pass&Honours),BSc.(Pass&Honours).. . . Nimapara College,Nimapara has been conferred autonomous status by UGC. An expert committee led by Dr. MD Tiwari, director of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, P Trimurty, former computer science HOD of Acharya Nagarjun University, T Bharathy of SPM University, Tirpati and Ak Dogra, joint secretary of UGC had visited the college . The expert committee, during their visit, interacted with principal S Bera and members of teching and non-teaching staff; had expressed satisfacation over the academic atmosphere, Infrastructure and facility development programmes.
