I am 37 years old and have an Arts Degree, Law Degree, Diploma in Legal Practice and I am now studying Holistic Healing (Kinesiology, Chrakra Balancing, Pranic Healing and Mediation). My junior years were spent learning to cope with my secret while trying to project a sense of normality. I studied hard, had boyfriends and threw myself into competitive sport, mainly rowing.. . After school, I found it very difficult to find my way in the world. Post university I practiced law for three years and then took a sabbatical and became a full time cyclist. I got married to an incredibly supportive man and had my parents divorce after 30 years of marriage.. . After a year of cycling my body had had enough. I developed chronic fatigue, glandular fever and chronic sinusitis. I then spent the next 6 years learning how to rid my body of these illnesses. All up, I have had four surgeries on my knee, two surgeries on my nose, two cesareans for my children and two miscarriages.. . Today however, I am in the best shape I have been since I was 6 years old. I have finally learnt who I am, what I need and how to get it. I am not fully healed yet. Healing is my journey and one I want to share with you, so that I may be able to help you with any blockages you may have. Not everyone has gone through such extensive pain and suffering. I would hope most of you haven’t. But what I have found is most people I know struggle at some point with their purpose, direction and self belief/worth. Most people have experienced some pain.. .
