Pam has been involved in the arts sector throughout her professional life, and worked in a freelance capacity since the mid 1980s, undertaking commissions and generating self-funded arts and cultural projects. Her creative project work has included all aspects of planning and bringing projects to fruition including sourcing funding, submissions, curating exhibitions, media and publications. . . Pam has a Master of Arts, Photography (RMIT) and Diploma of Professional Writing & Editing (Victoria University). She taught photography to writing students as part of the Victoria University course from 2007-2012 and has extensive experience in preparing artist and catalogue material, media releases and detailed preparation for publication. Pam also provided photo documentation for the Conversations with Australian Writers event series at Victoria University from 2008-2014, and the Urban Communities Kensington Community Cultural Festival from 2010-2016. . . From 2001-2015, Pam was rehearsal photographer for the Melbourne Theatre Company, generating images for programs, foyer displays and the MTC website. She is currently a photography lecturer at CATC Design School's Melbourne campus. This involves project managing student exhibitions including: overseeing catalogue production, image specifications, sponsorship, developing artist statements and media releases, ensuring exhibition schedules and deadlines are met, copy editing and student feedback. In 2013 Pam also reviewed and re-wrote a series of 12 i-magazines for CATC online students. . . Pam has managed a broad range of creative projects including Nkumba Rumba, a series of African dance/music performances held in the Docklands in 2012 and Congo-Cuba-Nkumba, a dance/music/photography artist-in-residency and performance in 2009.. .
