Peanut of The Fendi Boyz & Money Gang Mobb grew up on the south side of Richmond California. He started rapping in 1997 in the 11th grade when he met his longtime friend Kayda. The two bonded over their similar rapping styles and taste in music. . . As solo artists they made songs together and with high school friends Kaynine & A2ThaK, who at the time were a group known as "H2O". Peanut eventually joined Kaynine's H2O group but kept his friendship with Kayda. By the end of his senior year of high school, he and Kayda would hook up again with Peanut's older cousin, up & coming rapper Johnny Ca$h. Ca$h had ust released his group album with fellow family members YS and Pete Eruption known as Da Hoodfellaz. For the next year and a half Peanut and Kayda continued to record music. . . An invitation from Johnny Ca$h allowed them to meet Bay Area producing legent, Rob Lo who was known for his production and affiliation with "The Mob Figaz". They hit it off well and Rob Lo decided to work with the Peanut and Kayda, putting them in a group with Ca$h to form the Fendi Boyz. . . Now under the wing of Johnny Ca$h and Rob Lo, Peanut & Kayda began recording an album produced by Rob Lo and another friend, producer Maki. After six months of recording new material for the debut album, recording suddenly came to a halt for undisclosed reasons. . . Peanut was determined to pursue his music career and continued rapping and supporting his cousin Johnny Ca$h. Ca$h and friend Rydah J Klyde of the Mob Figaz were going to do an album together under the late "Mac Dre's" label Thizz Ent. and he wanted to bring his two young proteges along with him. Johnny Ca$h and Rydah would eventually form one of the Bay Area's most popular groups to date, the Money Gang, which would eventually become the Money Gang Mobb or MGM. . . While Peanut continued his work with MGM and the Fendi Boy$, he made music with other local artists including Pete Eruption, Meez, Trill Real, Thugga, Magnoila Chop, Young Los and a host of others. While his music career was blossoming, his world as he knew it took a turn for the worse. . After receiving a disturbing phone call from a family member, Peanut learned that his cousin Johnny Ca$h had been murdered. . . Determined to keep his cousin's memory and legacy alive, Peanut continued to record and has since released several projects including Money Movement with The Fendi Boyz; Peanut & Kayda: The Prince & The Mayor, Prince of the Rich Mixtape with Demolition Men, Best of Both Hoods with Philthy Rich and Mobb Affiliated with DJ J-Spin.. . Peanut has performed all over the West Coast including Oakland, San Francisco, Gilroy, Las Vegas, Monterey, Santa Cruz, Portland, Seattle, and Sacramento.
