Pod Studios is a ground floor hire studio facility located in Elsternwick, about 20 minutes from the CBD. Courier and wheelchair friendly, it faces a car park for 180 cars, city bound tram, two bus lines and a taxi rank.. . Nearby is Coles, Officeworks, Post, funky cafes and restaurants, the Elsternwick rail station (on the Sandringham line) is just 5 minutes down the road.. Pod is designed and managed by Rob Skovell. The studio has a 1/2 cyc white wall, 1 textured blue wall, and 1 textured rust wall. The overhead hanging system allows for the placement of most all lights, back grounds and back drops.. . It has a spacious makeup & change area with a wonderful kitchen providing filtered water on tap, NESPRESSO coffees, T2 teas, cold drinks, cookies and lollies, Fashion racks, and plenty of personal storage.. . The studio areas have a purpose built production trolley that houses a calibrated Apple cinema screen, Hifi connection for your laptop or i-pod.. . Pod studios faces south, so the light temperature is constant, Daylight and total blackout. . Pod studios has been regularly hired by local, interstate & international photographers shooting fashions, table top & large products, fine art nudes and small scale television crews, event organisers and classes.. .
