A indústria de laticínios começou em 1921 e no início dos anos 40 é lançada a marca Regina. . . Nos anos 70 houve grande diversificação dos tipos de queijos fabricados.. . Nos anos 80 implantou modernização e mecanização das fábricas, iniciou a produção de leite pasteurizado e depois de leite UHT e lançou também creme de leite e bebidas lácteas. . . Nos anos 90 foi pioneira na implantação de resfriamento de leite nas fazendas de 600 de seus fornecedores. . . Em 2009 passou a produzir soro e leite em pó e em 2011 o leite condensado. Regina é a segunda marca de queijo mais antiga do país e Leite Total a segunda mais antiga de leite UHT.. . Gera 550 empregos diretos e 400 indiretos em duas unidades fabris e filiais de vendas.. .
