I'm a big fan of desserts, that meals are always not complete without a sweet ending. I believe it's the love of eating desserts that has developed my passion for baking. . . At age 22 or 23, I had a short stint at a local patisserie where I caught a glimpse of the ins and outs of a professional patisserie. A very fruitful experience where I re-learnt all the basic techniques I thought I knew. Even after I started my corporate career, my passion for baking wasn't forgotten. I started an online business called: "The Little Cake Box" creating customized cakes, cupcakes and macarons, for special occasions in Singapore. . . After I got married to my wonderful Malaysian husband, I uprooted my life, quit my corporate career and moved to KL in 2012. I am fortunate enough for my husband's support in turning my passion for baking into a business. Goodness knows after how many cupcakes he has eaten.
