Detailed description is .Ρέα Μαδέλλα Ιωαννίδου. . Η Ρέα Μαδέλλα Ιωαννίδου γεννήθηκε στη Λευκωσία. Αποφοίτησε από την Εθνική Ακαδημία Φυσικής Αγωγής της Ελλάδας. Αφυπηρέτησε από τη θέση της Διευθύντριας των Κρατικών Ινστιτούτων Επιμόρφωσης της Κύπρου που ανήκει στο Υπουργείο Παιδείας και Πολιτισμού. Δίδαξε στην Παιδαγωγική Ακαδημία της Κύπρου, στο Ανώτερο Τεχνολογικό Ινστιτούτο και στο Παιδαγωγικό Ινστιτούτο της Κύπρου εκπαιδεύοντας καθηγητές Φυσικής Αγωγής για την μονιμοποίηση. Σπούδασε Jazz στο Πανεπιστήμιο Leeds στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και παρακολούθησε θεατρικά σεμινάρια του Λάκη Κουρετζή στο θέατρο Ημέρας με θέμα το Θεατρικό Παιχνίδι (Μέθοδος διδασκαλίας για τα παιδιά της προδημοτικής).. . Ως συγγραφέας έχει εκδώσει δύο βιβλία με τίτλο «Το παιδί και το παιχνίδι» και «Το Θεατρικό παιχνίδι στο Γυμνάσιο και Λύκειο». Είναι σεναριογράφος και έχει εξειδικευτεί στις μουσικές και χορευτικές παραστάσεις. Για πολλά χρόνια είχε την εκπομπή «Καλημέρα με τη Ρέα» στο Ράδιο Πρώτο και αρθρογραφούσε σε καθημερινή στήλη στις εφημερίδες «Αγώνας» και «Φιλελεύθερος».. . Ήταν η Πρόεδρος των Ειδικών Ολυμπιακών Αγώνων της Κύπρου, και σήμερα είναι μέλος της Επιτροπής και υπεύθυνη για τις Δημόσιες Σχέσεις για τον Παγκύπριο Οργανισμό Κωφών. Υπήρξε Γενική Γραμματέας του Συνδέσμου Καθηγητών Φυσικής Αγωγής Κύπρου, θέση από την οποία παραιτήθηκε μετά την προαγωγή της ως Διευθύντρια.. . Είναι Αντιπρόεδρος του Ιστιοπλοϊκού Ομίλου της Λευκωσίας, Μέλος της Επιτροπής της Ιστιοπλοϊκής Ομοσπονδίας και αντιπροσωπεύει την Κύπρο στην Διεθνή Ιστιοπλοϊκή Ομοσπονδία I.S.A.F. (ως η μόνη γυναίκα στην Κύπρο που έχει εκλεγεί στην Επιτροπή αυτή), Μέλος της Γυναικείας Επιτροπής του Αθλητικού Οργανισμού Κύπρου για την ανάπτυξη του γυναικίου αθλητισμού και τη θέση της αθλήτριας γυναίκας στη δημόσια και ιδιωτική αναβάθμιση. Επίσης, είναι η Αντιπρόεδρος του ειδικού σχολείου New Hope (έχει διοριστεί εκεί από το Υπουργικό Συμβούλιο).. . Από το 2005 έχει διοριστεί στην Επιτροπή Χορού του Υπουργείου Παιδείας και Πολιτισμού, από το Υπουργικό Συμβούλιο. Είναι η Πρόεδρος και η ιδρυτής του Πολιτιστικού Λαογραφικού Ομίλου Λευκωσίας από το 1997, έτος ίδρυσής του. Τον Νοέμβριο του 2005 εξελέγη μέλος της Επιτροπής του Διεθνούς Συνεδρίου Χορού – CID UNESCO, θέση στην οποία επανεξελέγη παμψηφεί τον Ιούλιο 2010 κατά τις εργασίες του παγκοσμίου συνεδρίου του ΔΙΕΘΝΟΥΣ ΣΥΜΒΟΥΛΙΟΥ ΧΟΡΟΥ CID-UNESCO στη Μαλάγα της Ισπανίας.. . . Το 2009 διορίστηκε, από τον Πρόεδρο της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας, Μέλος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου του Θεατρικού Οργανισμού Κύπρου, για τριετή θητεία μέχρι τον Ιούλιο του 2012. . . Υπήρξε Πρόεδρος της Κριτικής Επιτροπής του 22ου Παγκύπριου Φεστιβάλ Ερασιτεχνικού Θεάτρου (2009), Μέλος της Κριτικής Επιτροπής του Διαγωνισμού Συγγραφής ΘΟΚ 2010 και Πρόεδρος της Κριτικής Επιτροπής του 23ου Παγκύπριου Φεστιβάλ Ερασιτεχνικού Θεάτρου (2010). Είναι Πρόεδρος της Επιτροπής Αναπτυξιακού Τομέα ΘΟΚ και Μέλος της Κριτικής Επιτροπής του Διαγωνισμού Συγγραφής ΘΟΚ 2011.. . Από το 2003 ασχολείται με την παραγωγή αξιόλογων και μεγάλων παραστάσεων. Στην Κύπρο εκπροσωπεί ως παραγωγός και Manager τους εξής οργανισμούς: Μπαλέτο της Σκάλας του Μιλάνο, Alvin Aley-American Dance Theatre, Queen Esther Marlow and Harlem, Gospel Singers, Budapest Concert Orchestra, National Ballet of Budapest Opera, Israelian Ballet, Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, Kamea Dance Company. Rea Madella Ioannidou. The Producer. . Rea Madella Ioannidou was born in Nicosia. She graduated from the National Academy of Physical Education of Greece. She is currently Headmaster of the Institute of Education of Cyprus that belongs to the Ministry of Education and Culture. She taught at the Academy of Education of Cyprus, at the Higher Technological Institute and at the Educational Institute of Cyprus teaching teachers. She studied at the Leeds University in the UK (jazz dancing) and attended theatrical seminars by Lakis Kouretzis.. . As a writer she has published two books titled “The child and the game” and “Theatrical games in Gymnasium and Lyceum”. She adapts screenplays and she is specialized in music and dance performances. For many years she led a morning show on Radio Proto and had a daily column in the newspapers “Agonas” and “Phileleftheros”.. . She has been the President of the Cyprus Special Olympics and today she is a member of the Board and PR person of the Pancyprian Organization of the Deaf. She has been Secretary General of the Cyprus Teachers of Physical Education Association, a position she resigned after being promoted to headmaster, thus abiding by the association rules.. . She is Vice-president of the Nicosia Sailing Club, a Member of the Board of the Sailing Federation and represents Cyprus at the International Sailing Federation Ι.S.A.F. (as the only woman from Cyprus that was elected at a Board), a Member of the Women's Committee of the Cyprus Sports Organization for the development of women athletes. Also, she is the Vice - president of the Board of New Hope, a special school, and was appointed there by the Council of Ministers. . Since 2005 she has been appointed at the Commission of Dance of the Ministry of Education and Culture, appointed by the Council of Ministers. She is the President of the Cultural Heritage Association of Nicosia since 1997 that it was established. In November 2005 she was elected member of the Board of the International Dance Council -CID UNESCO and she re-elected unanimously on July 2007 during the International Symposium of the International Dance Council -CID UNESCO in Malaya of Spain.. . In 2009 His Excellency the President of the Republic of Cyprus appointed her as a Member of the Director’s Board of the Cyprus Theatre Organisation, for three years until the July 2012.. . She was a Chairwoman of the Jury at the 22nd Pancyprian Amateur Theatre Festival (2009), Member of the Critical Committee of THOC’s Play Writing Competition 2010 and Chairwoman of the Jury at the 23rd Pancyprian Amateur Theatre Festival (2010). She is a Chairwoman of THOC’s Development Sector and Member of the Critical Committee of THOC’s Play Writing Competition 2011.. . Since 2003 she is a producer of many great productions.
