Detailed description is Refuge de Moëde-Anterne. un véritable jardin d'Eden... Situé à 2000 m d'altitude, face au Mont-Blanc au coeur du massif des Fiz, c'est dans un décor d'alpages et de haute montagne, que l'on découvre le refuge de Moëde-Anterne situé à Passy, à côté de Chamonix Mont Blanc, en Haute-Savoie.. Le vieux chalet, construit en 1898, n'était qu'un rendez-vous de chasse au chamois et de randonnée vers les sommets environnants.. Les premiers propriétaires sont des consorts des alpages, tous chasseurs.. Une cantine y est installée en 1924. Elle devint, en 1946, la propriété de Marcel Borgeat et, plus tard, de sa famille. On y accueille les promeneurs, les alpagistes, les chasseurs et les pêcheurs (les lacs de Pormenaz et Anterne sont à proximité), mais aussi les scientifiques venus étudier les caractéristiques géologiques de la chaîne des Fiz et/ou du massif de Pormenaz, réputé pour ses richesses minières.. Pendant la dernière guerre, la cantine de Moëde (comme on l'appelait alors) servit de cache aux résistants ravitaillés depuis PASSY, SERVOZ, ou même CHAMONIX. Marcel Borgeat, grand résistant, montagnard averti et habile chasseur, construira là-haut une véritable centrale hydroélectrique, à une époque où l'électricité n'arrivait pas encore dans tous les villages de montagne.. Sa fille Arlette lui succéda, aidée de son mari Robert Didier, guide de haute montagne et de leurs enfants, notamment de leur fils Lionel.. En 1994, ils ouvrirent un nouveau refuge de 90 places spacieux et accueillant face à la chaîne du Mont-Blanc.. Aujourd'hui, le concept initial du grand-père a beaucoup évolué, notamment grâce aux nouvelles technologies, (pico centrale moderne, solaire), il permet de bénéficier de toutes les commodités d'un hôtel de la vallée, à 2000 m d'altitude. Un véritable jardin d'Eden !
