In 2008, after moving to Kerry full time, she set up a harp rental scheme to allow students to try out Irelands national instrument without committing straightaway. Her teaching activities include private lessons at "The Green Harp" near Kilgobnet/Killorglin, kid's sessions and international workshops at harp festivals in Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands and France (see also www.harpmusic.ie). She taught the harp at Killarney School of Music from 2010-2017 and helped Tim Carroll with professional advice to get started with harp making at "Killarney Harps".. Today, Reidun is teaching harp in Tralee (Mondays), Killarney (Tuesdays), Killorglin (Wednesdays & Thursdays) and at Currow National School on Thursday mornings.. Reidun has over 20 years of teaching experience and has published a harp tutor in 2009 in German, publications for the Harp in English are coming out soon.. As a performer, she can be heard as a soloist or as part of the duo "Amala" (www.amala.ie).
