Revista Al Damir –que significa ‘conciencia’ en árabe- nace el año 2001, a iniciativa de los creadores de la Fundación Palestina Belén 2000: José Said, Alberto Kassis y Mario Nazal, respondiendo a la necesidad de fortalecer lazos entre descendientes de palestinos en Chile en particular y la comunidad árabe en general.. . Para sus creadores, constituye un llamado a reflejar en sus páginas el compromiso espiritual con Tierra Santa, lugar donde se forja la identidad palestina. En sus inicios, comienza como revista institucional de la Fundación, para pasar el año 2010 a formar parte de la Asociación Nacional de la Prensa.. . La revista se publica cada dos meses y se distribuye de manera gratuita por base de datos, segmentada a líderes de opinión, ejecutivos y empresarios de la colectividad árabe y la sociedad chilena. Hoy ya tiene 15 años de existencia, donde se han publicado 155 ediciones. Actualmente su tiraje alcanza a los 4.000 ejemplares.. . .
