Detailed description is Rifugio escursionistico di bassa montagna, cucina tipica trentina, adatto a famiglie.
Luogo ideale per passeggiare nel bosco e per rilassarsi sui prati.

Parco giochi ed ampi spazi all’ aperto per bambini..
Parcheggio a 500 metri dal Rifugio, che si raggiunge con una passeggiata nel bosco.
E' preferibile indossare scarpe adeguate..
50 posti a sedere all’interno e 100 circa all’esterno.
Possibilità di pernottamento: 18 posti letto al Rifugio + 10 in una casetta adiacente.

STORIA E AMBIENTE..
Sul Monte Calino, a 974 m., presso una antica chiesetta del 1683, ma pare risalga addirittura al medioevo, sorge il rifugio San Pietro..
Accanto alla chiesa sorgeva l'antico romitorio, dimora di un eremita, che fu acquistato dalla Sezione SAT di Riva del Garda nel 1930; ampliato e trasformato in rifugio venne inaugurato nel 1931..
Tra il 1995 ed il 1996 stato sottoposto ad una serie di lavori di ristrutturazione..
Il nuovo rifugio stato inaugurato nell'autunno del 1996..
Questo edificio, che si raggiunge facilmente da Ville del Monte oppure da Calvola, frazione superiore di Ville, ubicato in una posizione felicissima e molto panoramica: un vero BALCONE SUL GARDA..
Salire al rifugio equivale ad immergersi in un'atmosfera d'altri tempi a cui contribuisce il paesaggio, l'ambiente e le architetture; ad esempio il borgo medioevale di Canale di Tenno e di Calvola, sapientemente recuperato rispettando le antiche architetture rurali, i nuclei abitativi tra le strette viuzze selciate..
Dal rifugio si possono intraprendere alcuni interessanti e panoramici itinerari verso le cime del Gruppo del Casale ed il Lomaso..

536 (strada da Dasindo) con il segnavia 410 alla Sella del Calino m.
