He currently resides in the IT hub and the garden city of India, Bangalore. He had been very keen to taking pictures of different elements and compositions ever since he had a 35mm Yashica film camera during his tender childhood days. His actual passion for photography began in 2008 when he upgraded to a digital point and shoot camera and tried experimenting with different subjects. Later, he ventured into the professional field of photography with a sole motive of promoting the Manipur Tourism to exhibit the unseen and unexplored places and people of the state which is less known by the other parts of the world. He not only travels nook and corners within the state but also travels across most of the places in India and showcases the rich cultural heritage and the breathtaking natural landscapes to the world through his works. He now owns Canon DSLRs with wide ranges of lenses and accessories. Robert is completely a self-taught photographer. He is best known for his unique perspective and innovative compositions. He is one of those names who come in mind when people think of a Travel and Tourism Photographer in Manipur.. . His works has been featured on various brochures in several publications, website and calendars of the Manipur Tourism Department since 2011. His works has also got published in the calendars, diaries and magazines of the Department of Information and Public Relations, Government of Manipur. Some of his works also got exhibited in M.F.
