'Shake & Stomp' is an energetic music appreciation class for children aged 1 - 5yrs and their parents/carers. Classes are held Mon/Tues/Thurs 9.45-10.30am & Sat 9.30-10.15am during school terms. No bookings required, no lock-in contracts :-) just come along, make some noise and have some fun with Circle Music’s Angeline the Disco Queen (mon/tues/sat) & Windy Lindy (thurs).. . An imaginative and creative class for under 5's to enjoy music & play freely. Learning through play, the children are exposed to fundamental musical concepts such as rhythm, melody, tempo and pitch & are encouraged to be as expressive - or as observant - as they feel comfortable. Although structured, the classes have 'no rules' except to have fun & be kind! The grown-ups might just have some fun too!. . Shake, stomp, sing, dance, make some beats and have some fun. Play the djembe or the ukulele, shake a maraca, an egg, your head or a tambourine. Sing along to songs that keep you on your twinkle toes, some of which you haven't heard & some you'll already know. . .
