Detailed description is Allevamento amatoriale della razza canina Shikoku ken. Addestramento cani e handling riconosciuto ENCI. E’ ormai più di 2 anni che cerco di impegnarmi nella selezione di questa stupenda razza di cani di origine giapponese e nel creare così un allevamento “Porta del Sud” dedicato solo agli Shikoku.. Il mio allevamento amatoriale è il risultato dell’amore e della passione verso la natura e verso tutti gli animali. . Il tutto è iniziato più di 20 anni fa quando per puro caso mi fu regalato da un cacciatore un espagnel breton, femmina, che chiamai Wendy e dopo di lei ci sono stati altri espagnel che hanno accompagnato la mia vita prima nella famiglia di origine e poi nella mia attuale famiglia. Con lei e gli altri cani e grazie anche all’amico Raffaele Alicandro, si è accresciuta la mia passione verso i cani ma anche verso altri animali come i pappagalli, animali esotici splendidi. Ma anche se sia gli espagnel breton che i pappagalli mi hanno dato numerose soddisfazioni facendomi conoscere in modo più approfondito il mondo animale, cambiando anche lavoro, nel mio intimo ho sempre provato una curiosità per i cani di razze giapponesi. Così mi sono avvicinato alla cultura giapponese ed in questo mio girovagare, grazie anche alla spinta avuta dai mie 3 figli, ho avuto contatti con allevatori sia di razza Akita quale Manuela Convertini che della razza Shikoku come Giovanna la Ferla ed ho avuto il piacere di conoscere educatori cinofili con Alice e Giancarlo.. Vedendo il volto di questo piccolo cane giapponese, che assomiglia ad un lupo, abbiamo deciso di accogliere in famiglia la piccola Ayumi e con lei poi ci siamo trasferiti in una zona incontaminata sulle coste al confine tra Campania e Lazio dalle bellissime spiagge con le dune mediterrane……………... Qui abbiamo deciso di prendere il nostro secondo cane Nobita maschio proveniente dai Paesi Bassi e realizzare il sogno di allevare, crescere, migliorare, allenare e far conoscere in Italia e speriamo nel mondo questa particolare razza di cani da caccia al cinghiale nata in Giappone.
