Siddhartha English Secondary Boarding School (SESBS) celebrated its Silver Jubilee in 2010 with its around 1000 students. SESBS is a reputed English medium school in Chitwan district and striving for quality education at affordable fees. Currently it has two separate blocks: secondary and primary block at Sangam Road and Pre-primary block at Belchowk, Narayangarh. Higher Secondary Programme (+2) is being introduced in the near future.. . Aims and Objectives. From its inception, SESBS has aimed at quenching the thirst of education in the guardians of Bharatpur municipality and the neighbouring areas. The sole aim of SESBS is to impart quality education to children at an affordable price. SESBS strives for achieving academic excellence of the students. Simultaneously, SESBS endevours to prepare students well for an outstanding performance in the S.L.C. examination, since its result is going to pave the way for their higher studies and a potential career in the future. Ultimately, SESBS makes every effort to develop the students intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially. In the process, the students are involved in the curricular, the extra-curricular and the co-curricular activities specified in the academic calendar.. . Academic Programs. SESBS has regular formal curricular classes from 10 to 4 in all seasons. However, there are regular remedial classes in the morning for academically weak students at minimum charge. Computer science is taught from class five to grade X but as an optional subject in IX and X along with Accountancy. Drawing, dance, music and art classes have been introduced in the primary level. The students receive an effective study guidance from qualified, experienced and well-motivated teaching staff.. . Admission Procedures. Admission is normally open one month before the beginning of each new session. The candidates have to fill up the admission form available at Account Section. Then there is an Entrance Test in English, Mathematics and Nepali for grades I-V and English, Mathematics, Science and Nepali for grades VI-IX. Thereafter the successful candidates need to submit their Transfer Certificates and Mark Sheets or Report Cards on the day of the actual admission.
