The Northern Health Network (formerly the Adelaide Northern Division of General Practice) is a non-profit health organisation based in Edinburgh North, South Australia. We provide support to General Practice and have a long reputable history of health advocacy and service delivery. Formed as a Division of General Practice, the NHN was commissioned in 1993 and is now in its twenty-third year of operation.. . In April 2013, the NHN transferred all services and staff to the Northern Adelaide Medicare Local (NAML). After the dissolution of Medicare Locals following the 2014 federal budget, the NHN has promptly resumed its service delivery function from 1 July 2015. . . NHN continues to provide mental health counselling services, Closing the Gap programs and chronic disease health management services to members of our community. We have also maintained our strong commitment towards General Practice and continue provide assistance in a range of areas, including IT and education. . .
