The Centre is a result of the efforts of a committee of community members representing Splitters Creek Incorporated. . . The Community Centre incorporates a hall with kitchen and toilet facilities, the Splitters Creek Rural Fire Service sheds and acts as our Neighbourhood Safer Place in the event of a fire. . . Our community facility is utilised for several monthly events such as playgroup (for children aged 0-5 years), Friday night social drinks, home grown produce swap meet, Landcare meetings and other community events/fundraisers. . . The facility is also available for hire to residents and non-residents throughout the year.
