These classes are a beautiful introduction to the basic movements of dance, with an emphasis on the use of imagination through story-telling, props and musical instruments. The themed classes develop children's understanding of movement, their co-ordination, musical appreciation and agility as well as their listening skills and response to instruction. As the names suggest, BLUEBIRD BALLET is more classically influenced, building a foundation of ballet steps, whereas DINOSAUR DANCE is a creative movement class based on the time when dinosaurs roamed! However, these classes are not gender specific.. . BALLET GRADES (Primary, Grades 1-8, and Vocational levels). These classes follow the general structure of the ballet syllabi of the Royal Academy of Dance, an international organization with teachers in over 80 countries worldwide..
