As I take over the mantle of this institution I pay rich tributes to Late Rev. Fr. Henry Suares who was instrumental in doing the spade work for the realization of the dream of having an English Medium School that would cater to the community at Chunar. As I look back I am reminded of the great work done by my immediate predecessor, Rev. Fr. Walter D'Silva, who worked day and night to establish the infrastructure and always strived to maximise the potential of our students. I thank him from the core of my heart and wish him all the success in his future endeavours. . . Our school motto “Tamasoma Jyotirgamaya” inspires us to equip our students with the skills to dispel the darkness that is found within oneself and in the larger society. In order to realize the motto of our school we try to instil values in our students that can really illumine their minds and they become torch bearers in the society. Our school community encourages staff, students, past students and parents to involve themselves fully in all aspects of school life and to identify themselves with its core values of Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Cooperation and Achievement. . .
