Supporting Hands Society, Dehradun, Uttarakhand has been working with the tagline of a step towards women empowerment which are continually imparting & focusing on Skill Development Professional Educational Training Programs in the domains like Fashion Designing, Garment Manufacturing, Beautician, Information Technology & Retail Management to those who are looking for an opportunity for Aajeevika. Women constitute almost 50% of the world's population, however, India has shown disproportionate sex ratio whereby female's population has been comparatively lower than males. As far a their social status is concerned, they are not treated as equal to men in all the places. . SHS do these professional trainings in liaison with professional trainers through well-planned and comprehensive programs in education & livelihoods with different government bodies & departments..
