Owner Robert Sao has had a passion for the health and fitness industry since the age of 15. In 2014, Robert and his wife Dianna decided to take a leap of faith and open their own independent supplement store in Zetland to help better the lives of others.. . Opening an independent store meant they have no big organization telling them what to buy and sell as they only wont to provide the best products and services to their customers.. In doing so, this means they only provide their customers with the brands they trust and use themselves. . . Robert has a 15 year body building background in the fitness industry and is also a qualified Personal Trainer. Robert has competed in a number of body building shows in 2015 and 2016, coming in 2nd place at the last AWA Classic.. . Dianna, has also been training for the last 10 years along side Robert and has a 10 year background in Customer Service, Banking and Business Management.. . Together they have the same goal of helping everyone of every age of every sex meet their goals. . . The Team at The Supplement Shack will listen to what you want and ask you questions to ensure the right product is given to suit only your needs. Sometimes you may not need to buy anything but just need advice? The team here is willing to help you get the results you want ! . . . In 2009 Robert’s body building career was nearly over due a work related injury which lead to him having major spine surgery. The doctors advised Robert that he would never be able body build again. Three years after his surgery, Robert was back in the gym and is bigger and better than ever before. Robert did not let the negativity of the doctors get in the way of all his hard work and this is a lesson for all, when someone puts you down, it’s up to you to get up and do it for yourself!. . Although Robert knows he has weak spots due to his surgery, he will never give up on his love for the sport and has great joy in helping others get to their fitness goals. . . In mid-June 2016, Robert was then injured in a Motor Cycle accident, which has caused fractures in his right leg, ankle and toes. This has put another hold on his body-building career but it defiantly will not stop him.. .
