Detailed description is Creating Peace. The idea for "The Window in the Wall" was founded in the notion of growing peace together. It began with a trip that producer Jean Kling made in June 2010 to Northern Ireland, where she met Maria Garvey and together they dreamed of ways to reveal the peace in Northern Ireland through the extraordinary stories of ordinary people. A year and a half later, Jean returned to Northern Ireland with her film-maker husband Tanner to explore with Maria the possibility of a documentary film. Now, with some preliminary footage and a diverse network of connections in place, we are preparing for our next round of filming in August and September 2012. We see "The Window in the Wall" as a conduit for revealing the essence of peace and breaking down barriers within and between people wherever they are throughout the world.
