Dezember 2004 wurde unser Verein offiziell gegründet und ist bis heute durchgehend aktiv. Wir haben damit für Menschen in unserer Region Arbeitsplätze geschaffen und werden alles dafür tun, diese zu erhalten.. . Wir arbeiten nun seit einiger Zeit mit den Kommunen des Landkreises, haben einen Vertrag, der die Fundtierbetreuung regelt. Endlich, nach einem Jahrzehnt, wird unsere Arbeit mit einem finanziellen Anteil ausgestattet, der keineswegs die Kosten deckt, aber eine Anerkennung unserer Arbeit bedeutet und das notwendigste abdeckt.. . . Das Haus und Gelände in Breustian mussten wir leider aufgeben. Dank eines zinslosen Kredits und vieler Spenden konnten wir ein Haus in Metzingen kaufen, das allerdings komplett umgebaut werden musste. Die Arbeiten sind noch lange nicht abgeschlossen.. . Das Gebäude in Metzingen wurde in unermüdlichem Einsatz ehrenamtlicher Mitarbeiter umgebaut. Es gibt mehrere Außenvolieren und ein Katzenhaus mit Freilauf.. Wir haben ein separates Babyzimmer mit Aussen-Freilaufbereich. für die ganz Kleinen und selbstverständlich eine Aufnahme- und Quarantäne-Station, wir haben nun auch einen ordentlichen OP und Aufwachraum.
