During the years spent at the university, he attended and then collaborated, as an assistant, with the Photography Course within the Architecture Faculty Master’s Degree Course, at the Palermo University. At the same time, he was selected to participate in a workshop directed by Olivo Barbieri. Then, he received a two-month scholarship to work on a photo feature at the Egyptian Tourist Authority in Cairo.. He took part in national and international photographic contests, winning prizes, mentions and important rewards. In particular, some photos of his have been awarded a special selection in the International Photography Contest by National Geographic in 2007.. His photos have been exhibited in many Italian cities: in Milan at the White Star Adventure and at Polifemo; in Venice at San Marco Aste; in Genoa at Palazzo Rosso; in Rome at Istituto Superiore Antincendi; in Palermo at the Architecture Faculty; in Mondello’s seafront; in Caltanissetta at Palazzo Moncada.. His photos have been published on many magazines and catalogues as well..
