Ce este teatrul de improvizatie si de ce il practicam?!. . . Trupa Obligo a aparut pe 1 Iunie 2009 dintr-o nevoie. Era o nevoie comuna, chiar daca majoritatea dintre noi erau inca studenti. Nevoia de a juca mai mult, mai des, fara restrangeri si ,in special, cu public.. . Fiind fani ai serialului britanic "Whose line is it anyway", ne-am gandit sa incercam si noi un asemenea tip de spectacol: fara regie, fara scenariu, fara nimic pregatit dinainte. Doar ca acela era un spectacol televizat si inregistrat.. . . Noi trebuia sa gasim, singuri, o forma de exprimare pe viu, intr-un spatiu neconventional. Am inceput sa jucam direct in bar si sa ne perfectionam "jocurile" pe viu, pana show-ul a capatat o forma coerenta, naturala si de sine statatoare.. . Denumim "jocuri", momentele de sine statatoare, o poveste, caci teatrul este o poveste. "Jocuri" este impropriu spus pentru ca exista o structura in spatele fiecarei povesti. Aceasta structura am invatat-o prin metoda Keith Johnstone (profesor de actorie canadian, parinte al perfectionarii improvizatiei) si prin anii petrecuti in scoala de teatru, turneele in care am jucat, teatrele cu care am colaborat individual si in grup.. . . Cui se adreseaza teatrul de improvizatie?. . . Tuturor! Cel mai tanar fan al nostru avea 11 ani cand a inceput sa vina la spectacole si cel mai frumos feed-back dupa un show l-am primit de la un regizor neamt de 71 de ani. Am avut public exclusiv feminin, public dispus pe un deal imens in fata noastra, public format numai din copii, petreceri private cu 15 invitati si sali pline cu peste 250 de oameni. In fiecare din aceste situatii am reusit sa ne bucuram de diversitate si stim ca am reusit, cel putin, sa nu lasam indiferent nici un spectator.. . Teatrul de improvizatie are marea calitate de a implica activ toate partile: actorii si publicul! Actorii trebuie sa fie mult mai atenti (cu toate simturile) la partenerii de scena, pentru ca impreuna trebuie sa construiasca fiind "legati la ochi". Publicul trebuie sa aiba doar pofta de joaca si pofta de viata!. . . Cum decurge un show Obligó?. . . Prezentatorul alege din public teme, meserii, situatii, locatii sau replici care vor deveni subiectul unui joc. Actorii trebuie sa dezvolte subiectul intr-un mod cat mai amuzant, pastrand in acelasi timp si obligoul (regula) acestuia. In functie de public, trece o ora jumatate sau chiar doua, in care cei prezenti se destind si isi mai descretesc fruntile. . . Actorii danseaza, canta, fac pantomima, construiesc povesti spontan. Totul este improvizat, fara nici o pregatire in prealabil a vreunui scenariu sau regii. . . Dupa aproape 7ani si peste 800 de spectacole, Nu stim, improvizam! .
