I have always loved any form of art from a very young age my mum would always encourage me to draw until i was old enough to carve my mum let me have a go and every since i have carried my gifts & skills with me.. . I dont have any flash awards or have been to a arts school ,i always wanted to but went in a different path to become a restaurant manager.. . In saying that the skills i do have are from my mum and my eye for watching something and giving it a go and a very close eye for detail and most is all self teached from books .. . I love my mahi every piece is 100% original and authentic to each of my customers request.. . the reason behind my page name Unique Vision Arts Ltd is when i design each piece i design what i see in my head ,i have visions from what each customer has told me what they want done and that is put to paper then sent to customer for approval,. . I do bone carvings wood carvings ,21st keys,1st birthday keys, taiaha (long-handled fighting staff) ,short weapon such as a patu (club) and many other stuff .i havnt had any idea yet that i couldnt do .. . each piece is UNIQUE and made to each customers wishes .i give each piece 135% of my energy and time and poor my heart out and full that piece with love and mana .. . each carving has a different price pending the size,time frame to make ,the item itself and the materials used .. . my art is my passion and my gift that i love soo much it is a part of me that will be with me forever ,my gender is only my gender that is who i am and i am very proud of myself and being transgender and having my gifts to make fantastic gifts for everyone .. .
