Two of UBC’s founding members, Lissette Salgado and David Lucas, are former Principal ballet dancers with extensive and impressive careers. Their combined list of professional contacts allows them the privilege and honor to hail principal dancers, company directors, and ballet school directors from all over the country to form the judge’s panel, mentor, and teach the intensive workshops. For the most talented dancers, judges extend scholarships to their renowned summer intensive and year-round programs and/or offer professional contracts.
