Detailed description is Windows of Change (Working Title) is a documentary about service, volunteering and changing the way we see the world around us. In May of 2017 31 students and WSU Alumni traveled to Mozambique, Africa to build a few classrooms and a library in the village of Mahubu. Students worked on the buildings, taught classes, and shared many friendships with the wonderful people of Mozambique. . The title, 'Windows of Change' comes from the simple idea that through service we can each replace the 'Mirrors' of our perspective, the "Me, me, me!" attitude we naturally have with 'Windows' that allow us to see the needs of others. Looking out for each other, serving, volunteering, just being aware of the others around us will change our world. There is power in one.
