In the Wu Chi grading system when a Sifu (master) trains up a student to become a Sifu themselves they then become a Laofu (Grandmaster) and retire from the school, giving the whole school to that Sifu. In 2016 Sifu Gavin Cook passed his red belt grading and took over the whole school from Laofu Robert Margetts.. As such the School is now run under the direction of Sifu Gavin Cook, who has been training and teaching in the Northern Rivers region for 15 years.
