Detailed description is An economic initiative by the Planning Commission of Pakistan that aims to involve youth in the country's socio-economic development. Young Development Corps is an economic initiative by the Planning Commission of Pakistan that aims to establish linkages between industry, academia and the government. Through this platform, the youth of Pakistan will be engaged in socio-economic development of the country. As per the 2025 vision, it is vital that youth of the country is involved in its economic development as most of the country’s population comprises of youth, hence they will be provided with opportunities to participate and contribute in the overall planning, policy making and development of the country. . . YDC will launch various events and competitions regarding development plans in the selected universities where the students will propose new plans, innovative ideas and solutions to the existing problems. Ultimately, the most effective plans/ideas will be incorporated and implemented by the Planning Commission. Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar is among the selected universities by the Planning Commission, Pakistan. The Honorable Federal Minister Mr. Ahsan Iqbal recently visited Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar and inaugurated the project.
