Die Zimpel & Franke-Gruppe, gegründet im Jahr 2000, blickt auf eine langjährige Tradition in der Automobilbranche zurück. Die Firmengründer Dietmar Zimpel und Eberhard Franke betrieben schon zu grauen DDR-Zeiten selbstständige Kraftfahrzeugreparaturbetriebe.. . Im Jahr 1996, Dietmar Zimpel betrieb zu diesem Zeitpunkt Autohäuser in Zschorlau und Schlema, Eberhard Franke in Friedrichsgrün, folgte das erste gemeinsame Projekt- ein Autohaus in der Stadt Zwickau.. . Im Jahr 2000 wurden dann die vier rechtlich selbstständigen Autohäuser in Zwickau, Zschorlau, Friedrichsgrün und Schlema in die gemeinsame Zimpel & Franke GmbH fusioniert und ein weiteres Autohaus in Klingenthal dazugekauft.. . Im Jahr 2003 wurde das Saab Zentrum Zwickau eröffnet, im Jahr 2004 das Subaru Autohaus in Schwarzenberg und im Jahr 2008 kam das erste Annaberger Autohaus zu unserer Unternehmensgruppe dazu.. . 2009 wurde der Standort Zwickau um ein Peugeot Autohaus erweitert. Im September 2011 eröffnete die Zimpel und Franke GmbH das Peugeot Autohaus am Standort Annaberg-Buchholz. Mit der Eröffnung 2012 unseres Standortes in Meerane sind wir somit im Erzgebirgsraum mit insgesamt zehn Häusern vertreten.
