Calev Myers made aliyah to Israel from the USA in 1992. He graduated from Hebrew University of Jerusalem and became a licensed member of the Israeli Bar Association. Calev founded the Jerusalem Institute of Justice in 2004 and currently serves as Chief Counsel. Beyond his work with the Jerusalem Institute of Justice, Calev works as a partner at Yehuda Raveh & Co. Law Offices, where he owns and manages their City Center Branch in Jerusalem. The firm was established in the 1940’s by Mr. Gideon Hausner who served as the Attorney-General of Israel and cabinet minister. Today, the firm has grown into one of the leading law firms in Israel and benefits from over 60 years of experience in the areas of civil and commercial law. Calev serves as General Counsel to over 80 non-profit organizations in Israel focusing upon education, humanitarian needs, social justice and civil rights, and grants ongoing representation to significant high-tech, telecommunications and media companies. He has been published in the International Financial Law Review and he currently represents many international entities which invest in various ventures in Israel. Calev serves as the Executive Director of the Knesset Caucus for Combatting Anti-Semitism, and has also served as Legal Counsel to the Chairman of the Knesset Social Welfare Lobby, and works together with Knesset Members and Government Ministers to carry out humanitarian projects for impoverished sectors of the Israeli society. He is also a member of the Association of Friends of Barzilai Hospital, the Association of Public Hospitals for the Benefit of the Public, as well Board of Governors member of the International Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists, an organization which works to combat racism, xenophobia, anti-Semitism, Holocaust denial and negation of the State of Israel.
