Detailed description is 柴灣工廠邨大廈 大廈原名「柴灣徙置工廠大廈」，當初全港共八處地方設有徙置工廈, 香港僅存舊式「H」型設計工業大廈 ，依家港島最後一座，也會成為區內文化遺產或著名地點. . . 柴灣範圍之內工業大廈於1959年落成，柴灣工廠大廈樓高7層 ， 至今已有53年歷史，現時300多個單位內，只餘下約10個租戶繼續營業，主要是五金、裝修及印刷店等。大廈沒有升降機，只有樓梯及斜路上落，每層設公共洗手間及浴室。. . 2012年9月運輸及房屋局長張炳良昨表示即將改建為公屋，為保育柴灣工業大廈，決定不會拆卸，改以翻新改建形式，預料可於明年中提供180個小型公屋單位。
