By taking this course you will be taught the basics of the Army, how to conduct tactical missions and movements, write operation orders, and learn how to do day and night land navigation. The most imporatnt lesson you will learn is how to become an Army Officer and leader.. . We here at the University of South Alabama are known as the Jaguar Battalion, we are also affiliated with Spring Hill College and the University of Mobile. We currently have 140 cadets in our program and counting. Our cadets are some of the top in the nation. Our cadets also range from scholarship cadets to those doing the SMP program through the National Guard or Reserves.. . The Jaguar Battalion does physical training and classes at the University of South Alabama, we have PT on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Many of our cadets that go to our affliate schools car pool, or we provide them with transporatation. . .
