BCS and union representative will continue to work on a new contract.
Workers at Bellingham Cold Storage went on strike July 1 in hopes of drawing the company back to the bargaining table.
Secretary Treasurer of Teamsters Local 231 Rich Ewing says the company’s pension and wage offers are not what the workers are looking for and they deserve better.
In a statement on their website, BCS said they are pleased the workers will return and will continue a good-faith effort to reach a new deal.
The two sides are scheduled to meet again with a federal mediator on July 21st.
