Sadie Olsen, a 19-year old Lummi Tribal Member, is co-founder of Whiteswan Environmental and was instrumental in the start up of Whatcom Intergenerational High School, which opens later this year.
In addition, Olsen is a member of the Northwest Portland Area Youth Indian Health Board and co-facilitates students and adults for Western Washing University’s Community Engagement Fellows
Olsen is among 30 individuals from across the country who are being recognized for affecting positive change in their community and nationwide.
