BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Two zero-emission buses have arrived in Whatcom County to serve transit routes throughout the county.
Whatcom Transportation Authority spokesperson Maureen McCarthy says they’ll have about a 150-mile range.
They seat 36 passengers with a total capacity of 75, can be fully charged in under four hours and are super quiet.
The electric buses are expected to enter service in June.
