This lecture will concentrate on research efforts by the presenter that took him on a journey from a small country with high antibiotic consumption rates all the way to the United States and the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME), where he got involved in the global antimicrobial resistance (AMR) research endeavor.
