Abolition of 40pc flat rate EIIS income tax relief scheme 'led to 35pc slump in funds raised by Goodbody'

Replacement of a flat income-tax relief for start-up investors with a complex new tiered structure is behind a slump of more than a third in funds into the Employment Investment Incentive Scheme (EIIS) schemes, according to a top money manager.
