Calendar items for the About Town section of The Galt Herald will be accepted for all local nonprofit events held for the community, and for nonprofit fundraising events at the discretion of the editor. Calendar items must be received by 12 p.m. on Monday to ensure publication in the Wednesday edition. All items must be received in writing or via email and must include a contact phone number. Herald blood drive March 18
Herald Fire Protection District is hosting a community blood drive on Thursday, March 18 from 2-7 p.m. at Station 87, 12746 Ivie Road in Herald. To make an appointment, visit Donors.Vitalant.org and search using blood drive code SMFT173. Donors must bring a photo I.D. and remember to eat well and drink plenty of water prior to donating.
