Amherst Co. supports extending Line of Duty benefits

In solidarity with Nelson County and a growing number of localities in honoring the memory of slain Wintergreen police officer Mark Christopher "Chris" Wagner II, the Amherst County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution Tuesday requesting the Line of Duty Act be amended to allow private officers to receive benefits under the legislation.
