REPORTS of recent anti-social behaviour on a Kendal housing estate include one of screws being put under car tyres.
The news came as police announced they had been patrolling Sandylands and 'dealt with' a number of youths there in past weeks.
They urged people to 'keep reporting any anti-social behaviour'.
On social media this week, a Sandylands resident said her children had spotted a screw under each front wheel of the car on her drive.
She said the screws were pointed upwards so it appeared the action had been a deliberate attempt to damage or deflate the tyres.
"People are getting a bit concerned," said Cllr Adam Edwards, chairman of Sandylands Residents' Association.
