The Indian army has contracted 49 schemes worth INR 76 billion ($1.01 billion) under its fourth round of emergency procurement, catering to capabilities ranging from drones to individual protective equipment. The army had previously signed 68 schemes worth INR 66 billion in the first three tranches of emergency procurements.
