Christian County Public Schools announced Friday that it will extend non-traditional instruction through next week.
The district referred to three factors in its decision: Jennie Stuart Health is currently at its capacity limit for patients, CCPS staff currently have 82 positive COVID-19 cases or are in quarantine and the âdramatic increase in the number of positive cases in our community.â
District teachers will continue working from their school buildings while facilitating online instruction.
Sports will resume practice Monday, Jan. 11, but games will not take place until after Jan. 15.
âParents and (g)uardians please remember, each school is maintaining its regular meal schedule during NTI.â CCPS Communications Director John Rittenhouse said in a statement. âSchools will distribute (three)-meal bundles daily from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.â
