Jaclyn Victor has announced her candidacy for a seat on the Greater Nanticoke Area School Board.
Victor, 23, of Nanticoke, has worked as a college and career adviser at Greater Nanticoke Area for the last two years, guiding students and their families through the college admissions and enrollment process.
A 2015 graduate of Greater Nanticoke Area, Victor has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in political science from King’s College and spent time in Harrisburg, working to draft education policy proposals during a fellowship at the Pennsylvania State Capitol.
“My experience has equipped me with the insight and ability it takes to be an effective school board member. I hope to bring a fresh perspective to the board and continue to positively impact our district. Even though we face many challenges, we have the potential to do great things,” Victor said in a campaign announcement.
