[Parts Check] Discussion: how many upgraded Spinning Drive Raid0 to SSD Raid0?
Considering doing so... Wanted to discuss Reasons for doing so with others who have done same....
Have a perfectly good Spinning Drive 2TB Raid0, who's drives are 10 or more years old... Debating on upgrading it, vs. just keep on using it.
Raid0 -- only for temporary data...
Existing Raid0 has a tremendous track record. I have a 2nd Raid0 array (SSD) on system, so, more speed and/or more space is not the issue... If spinning drive Raid0 died today, I'd lose nothing needed to complete any projects.
